A dynamic, dedicated, and robust medical specialist
Dr. Randy Lamfel is a dynamic, dedicated, and robust medical specialist. She embarked on her journey in the field of medicine by earning her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of the Witwatersrand. She then served as an intern at Helen Joseph Hospital and Rahimma Moosa Mother and Child Hospital. Following this, she dedicated herself to a fulfilling community service role at Middelburg Hospital with a primary focus on the maternity unit.

She then joined the Obstetrics and Gynaecology unit at the University of Pretoria, where she diligently completed her medical officer and registrar training. Driven by her passion for the field, she pursued specialization as an obstetrician and gynaecologist and achieved both her Fellowship and her Masters of Medicine.
Notably, her Masters in medicine research earned her first prize at the South African Association of Trainees in Obstetrics and Gynaecology Research Symposium.
Furthermore, she had the honour of being selected to present her work at the global conference hosted by the International Federation of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Paris, France.
Outside of her clinical training, she has served as an executive member of the South African Association of Trainees in Obstetricians and gynaecology, a national society which aims to promote and develop training opportunities in women’s health.
With an unwavering dedication to women’s health, Dr Randy Lamfel is wholeheartedly committed to serving the needs of her patients.
